ScubaShot
ScubaShot is built by AthlonLabs. The short version: we collect nothing. Your photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, there are no accounts, no ads, and no tracking, and the app sends us no data of any kind.
All photo correction happens on your iPhone or iPad. Your photos, in original or edited form, are never transmitted to us or to anyone else by the app. Saving sends photos only to your own photo library; sharing goes only to the destination you pick in the share sheet.
None. ScubaShot has no analytics, no usage statistics, no crash reporting, and no server of its own to send them to. The app contains no code that contacts us, and there is nothing to opt into or out of.
Photos from many cameras carry embedded location metadata. ScubaShot never reads or collects this itself; it only decides whether your exported files keep it. The "Include location in exported photos" toggle in Settings controls this. When it is off, ScubaShot strips GPS coordinates and location text from the files it exports.
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app keeps a count of your free exports and your purchase state on your device and in your personal iCloud key-value storage so they survive reinstalls; this contains no personal information.
No accounts. No advertising. No analytics SDKs or third-party trackers. No selling or sharing of data with anyone. ScubaShot contains no third-party code at all. The app makes no network connections of its own; the only traffic it causes is Apple's own, for the purchase and for the iCloud storage described above.
ScubaShot is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
